After being a client since the clinic's beginning, Michelle joined the staff part-time the summer of 2003 and full-time in January of 2004.
She received a BS in Psychology and English and an MS in Counseling and Personnel from Purdue University. After many years working in social services (emphasis on children) at the local and state levels, Michelle took several years off to raise her twin sons. She then worked as an instructional aide (in an elementary school) for children kindergarten - 5th grade for several years and has now turned to her other passion - working with animals.
Her family consists of her husband (Dick), twin sons (Seth & Cody), Sonny (Seth's service dog), other family dogs (Roo & Wilson) and the feline population (Bach, Beethoven, Lunar & Sydney). She enjoys her free time with her family, traveling, reading, training her dogs and volunteering with Caring Paws
(http://caringpaws.org) and THE CHAPS.
