Mary joined our staff in April, 2011. After working in the publishing world in Boston for several years, she moved back home to West Lafayette to pursue her original goal of becoming a veterinarian. Currently, she is wrapping up prerequisites at Purdue and anxiously filling out vet school applications.
In addition to her passion for canine and feline healthcare, Mary has a special interest in rabbit medicine and welfare, and she fosters and rehabilitates domestic rabbits for area shelters and rescues, maintains a blog about rabbit care, and fields daily care and behavior questions from around the country. In her free time, Mary enjoys running, reading, mint chocolate chip ice cream and volunteering at the Almost Home Humane Society.
