Dr. Laurie Dupré Adams joined the practice in August 2011.  She graduated from Auburn University College of Veterinary Medicine in 1984 and completed a Small Animal Internship at the University of Minnesota College of Veterinary Medicine the following year. She worked as a small animal practitioner until moving to the area in 1991. Dr. Adams has been a relief veterinarian for Purdue University Small Animal Community Practice along with being an instructor for first and second year veterinary students.  Dr. Adams also is an equine consultant. Her interests include geriatrics and the urinary tract system.

Dr. Adams and her husband, Larry Adams DVM, have 2 children. Claire is a senior at WLHS and Kevin is a sophomore at IU.  Her other family members include: Dazzle a Portuguese Water Dog, Gracie a Golden Retriever, two cats Fili and Kili, three American Quarter Horses Elizza, Penny and Ben.  In her free time, she enjoys playing with and showing her horses, snow skiing, traveling with her husband and Purdue women’s basketball.
